Exhilarating Exhibiting

I found two interesting items today, a glass case in the SODA degree exhibitions and a fallen tree branch in the park (which I took home!).

The tree branch could exhibit moss. The glass case mushrooms. But I have to grow them first. I’m considering a terrarium for the moss, which a glass case is not, but it’s an interesting container – without curves, reminds me of museums and galleries, cold and angular, and would be a contrast to the organic form of the mushrooms (or moss).

Moss on a glass plate seems alien, moss seems alien. It is a non-flowering plant without roots, able to absorb moisture from the air or falling rain.
